Brand campaign: Your’re never alone when you care for a pet

In 2020 and 2021, more people struggled with loneliness, due to the restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 epidemic. According to Beaphar, a pet can offer relief.

Sometimes, we all underestimate the power of a pet, of a true friend. When you have a pet, you never come home to an empty house. Even more, a dog for instance, helps you to go outside regularly. To take long walks and connect with people you cross in the streets. Especially for the elderly, a pet can be a genuine enrichment in their lives.

Storytelling & Emotional Branding

As Global Digital Communications Manager, I strongly believe that in marketing, storytelling and emotion are essential to connect a brand with its audience. This belief shaped the creative direction of Beaphar’s brand campaign: “You’re never alone when you care.” The campaign delivered a positive, relatable message – when you have a loyal companion, life’s little moments become richer and more joyful.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

Since Beaphar states that 'a pet is family too', it only deserves the very best. That’s why the company offers a wide range of quality pet care products which give your pet all the love it deserves. Thanks to Beaphar you can give the very best to your pet which gives its very best to you every day.

Our team developed the messaging and directed the shoot, together with our agency June20. As Global Digital Communications Manager, I was responsible for media buying, online advertising strategy and campaign roll-out and management. The campaign is featured in an online video, used on YouTube, Facebook and the Beaphar website in the following countries: the United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Norway, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Chile, Israel, Bulgaria and South Korea.

Different set pictures support the campaign communication and a complementary key visual was also created. The key visual was also used as an advert and instore poster.

Results & Brand Awareness Optimisation

The campaign significantly boosted brand awareness during and after the launch period.

Millions of views of the video ad across social media and YouTube.

Thousands of click‑throughs to Beaphar’s website, driving measurable engagement and conversion.

By combining campaign strategy, online advertising, media planning, and emotional storytelling, we successfully positioned Beaphar as a trusted pet care brand that understands the deep bond between people and their pets.
